Longarm Rental

 

Katydids Quilting Studio provides 2 APQS stitch-regulated Longarm quilting machines for rent.  

A certification class is required prior to booking rental time to ensure a smooth quilting experience.

Certification Class:

3 Hour Class - Learn how to load your quilt top, backing and batting.  Follow a pantograph with the laser light for an edge to edge design across your quilt, or quilt from the front doing freemotion quilting.

You will need to provide a small quilt top, (no larger than baby quilt/small lap quilt) batting and backing, for the class.  Backing needs to be 4" larger (on all 4 sides) than quilt top.  Backing and batting available for purchase in Studio, if needed.

Class Price is $100  limited to 2 students per class

Rental Information:

Certified quilters can rent our APQS machines for a minimum of 2 hours. To secure your desired quilting time, we recommend booking in advance. Our rental sessions run from 11- 3pm Tues and Wed. Saturday by appointment.  Saturday's must be scheduled by calling. 

Rental rates are $20 /Hr
